2005: Everybody Hurts -WGI World Champions!!!

Show Description:

Yes/no, for/against, pro and anti voices will be heard as the 2005 Pride of Cincinnati plasters gym floors across the country with a barrage of socially, and politically-charged bumper sticker messages.  The soundtrack will further celebrate this diversity of thought combined with the shared experience of the human condition by presenting various stylistic treatments of R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts.”

Pride’s 30 extremely talented young men and women will take full advantage of the staging, choreography, set design, costuming, and color selection to develop subtle metaphors for a very simple message:  Whether our individual passions are big, small, local, global, or completely personal; “Everybody Hurts Sometimes.  You are not alone.”
