Well this weekend's show was pretty unusually eventful. To start, it was the first time we had full hair and make-up, and I've never been air brushed before, so that was an experience all in itself; I felt like a celebrity!

Then, on the way there, as I am explaining the eye-make up to my sister while she's trying to put it on and drive......, we noticed every one pulling off to the side of the road. Finally we got word that one member had accidently run into another. We were all pretty shaken up about it, but continued on to the show site.

When we got there, everyone was asking Cassie and I if we were alright; supposidly they misunderstood that it was KaTHy who was involved in the wreck. For a second there were rumors that we weren't going to do the show at all, but since we wanted to be as prepared as we could be for the European Regional the next week we decided we would continue on with the show, but with four holes.

During body warm-up we made all the necessary arrangements for doing the show with four less people, which was a little tougher to do because of our exchanges. Then, as we walked in our "two's" to the gym, I had a three-some going on with Christin and Clint. On top of everything else, it was the first time Christin was in the show, filling Clints hole, and since I spun half my show by him, that added to the already unusual atmosphere.

During my show I was distracted multiple times by the fact that those four were absent; after rehearsing for hours and days by the same people, you fall into a routine, and I was thrown off guard when it was interrupted. During our last song, I even did my shadow part to the audience because my partner was out, that was amusing:)

The lesson learned this weekend is that any thing can happen and occasionally will happen, but it's all about the recovery. Overall, it was a different energy and a different color guard, but we pulled through and are stronger because the experience.
